6a014e8b4ec018970d01b7c75816e8970b-800wiThis year Mulafest 2015 Madrid takes place between the 25th and 28th June. It is one of the major events taking place in the city during this month and has become a popular one and is only in its fourth year.

Mulafest 2015 is a unique festival that enables Spain’s hidden talent to be able to express themselves more openly. During the 4 days that this event is on artists, creators and urban culture buffs will be able to show others their skills and talents.

Opportunity for amateur tattoo artists

This festival isn’t all about the tattoos, urban sports (skateboarding) and urban art. There’s plenty of other attractions to enjoy including a few outdoor concerts. Also there is plenty of delicious street food that you can try during your exploration of this festival of urban trends.

This year the organisers have chosen to do things just a little different. As part of this event an area has been set aside for amateur tattoo artists to be able to show off their own particular skills. Plus you have the opportunity to take part in courses where you can practice this ancient art. Also it offers you the opportunity to learn more about the art of body painting.

Urban culture event

Just as with other festivals in Madrid 2015, the crowds will be quite large, so we recommend that you arrive early. Last year saw more than 25,000 people attend this event. This is because it has become an important event for all those involved in urban culture from around the world.

Organized by MULE and IFEMA this festival is one that is one that shouldn’t get missed. Especially if you are some one who wants to be as up to date as possible with the urban trends of the coming year. Here is the one place you are going to see just what these are.

So why delay now is the perfect time not only to get your tickets for this festival, but arrange accommodation. Booking such now could end up saving you a whole lot time and money in the future. You’re more likely to find accommodation that not only suits your taste but also your budget. Plus will allow you to access to many other sights and sounds that Madrid has to offer.

As in previous years and with most festivals in Madrid this one takes place at IFEMA. Although located outside of the center of the city access is easy. You can of course drive there, but you may find it much easier to hop on the metro or get a bus. Both of which run regular services out to the location. When it comes to using the metro you need to hop on Line 8 and get off at Campo de las Naciones.
