Our first suggestion is Living in London<\/a>, <\/strong>an English\u00a0teahouse in Madrid. This place is excellent if you are fed up with the olives and ca\u00f1as and are in need of some English-style comfort. Living in London<\/strong> is an authentic-looking, English, Victorian style tearoom<\/strong> in Madrid. It is the perfect place for a gossip with your best friend or to have a delicious cake with your new love interest. It tends to be more popular with females than males, but don\u2019t be put off by the feminine scene if you really fancy a good cuppa. The tearoom<\/strong> is cute and cosy and its very well decorated in lilac and green and the place has a lovely wooden floor. There is a bar with seating plus several tables for 2 or 4 people. It isn\u2019t the place to bring a large group though as there simply isn\u2019t the space. Next door they also have a great gift shop owned by the same place. If you are looking for a posh high tea<\/strong> in style, we recommend the\u00a0Ritz Hotel Madrid<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Between 4 and 8 pm they serve a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, pastries<\/strong> and English scones, accompanied by jams, clotted cream and a wide variety of teas<\/strong>. The soothing sounds of a pianist, harpist or classical Spanish guitarist will be played in the background and impeccable waiters will serve you till you’re stuffed. Tea<\/strong> is served between 4 \u2013 8pm and the price is \u00a0\u20ac32 per person.<\/p>\n

Travel back a few centuries to the time of Spanish Romanticism, when literary and artistic achievements were abundant and decor was glamorous at the Madrid Museum of Romanticism<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and stop by their patio for\u00a0their\u00a0Romantic Garden Tea<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>The museum is famed for its collection of art, which includes a work by Goya, among other Spanish masterpieces.
