Work was finally completed at the beginning of 2011. You can explore the park without any real effort.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"activity-4-go-for-a-bike-ride\"><\/span><strong>Activity 4 &#8211; Go For A Bike Ride <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Within the park there is a total of 7km of <strong>cycle tracks<\/strong> you can use. There is a company in Madrid Rio where you can hire not only bikes, but also karts.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"rowing\"><\/span><strong>Rowing <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This isn&#8217;t an activity for everyone, if you want to you can. You will need to sign up to the <strong>rowing school<\/strong> first.<br \/>\nAlong the river a total of 1.2 km has been put aside specifically for rowers to use.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"go-to-the-beach\"><\/span><strong>Go To The Beach <\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shmadrid.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Madrid-Rio-Image-2.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-3591 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shmadrid.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Madrid-Rio-Image-2.jpeg\" alt=\"Madrid Rio Image 2\" width=\"380\" height=\"229\" \/><\/a><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Throughout the summer thanks to this park <strong>Madrid has its own beach<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In one area of the park there are streams and fountains that allow you to play and swim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plus there is an area set aside with loungers offering the perfect spot to relax and unwind.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"play-areas\"><\/span><strong>Play Areas<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No park is complete without an area that allows you to act like a child. Throughout the park there are areas where swings, slides and zip lines have been erected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also within the park there are numerous other areas set up where other sports can be enjoyed. There are some <strong>tennis<\/strong> and <strong>basketball courts<\/strong>, along with <strong>soccer fields<\/strong>. Plus there is even a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LL1rnUDQtUM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">skating rink<\/a><\/strong>. So you are sure to find somewhere to hang out with the new friends you have made during your visit to this amazing city.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Of course you&#8217;ll probably get thirsty and hungry when trying out the many Madrid Rio activities on offer.
