But one park that is sure to keep them enthralled for hours is Faunia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This private <strong>zoo Madrid<\/strong> first opened its doors back in 2001 and has become a popular attraction with visitors to the city. Although it is officially known as Madrid <strong>Biopark<\/strong> (<strong>Parque Biol\u00f3gico de Madrid<\/strong>), most people better know it as <strong>Faunia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But it isn&#8217;t like any other zoo you have visit before. In fact more see it as the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/faunia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Faunia theme park<\/a><\/strong> rather than as a zoo. But having said that within the parks 14 hectares there live more than 4,000 animals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Faunia theme park Madrid<\/strong> is divided up into <strong>4 different ecosystems<\/strong> before then into <strong>13 different themed areas.<\/strong> The four ecosystems that make up this park are <strong>Mediterranean Forest, African Steppe, South Pole <\/strong>and<strong> Amazon Jungle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3644 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shmadrid.com\/blog\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Faunia-Nature-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Faunia Nature 1\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/>In each area you and your family have the opportunity to be able to experience what life is like for the animals and plants that dwell in them. The kids will be enthralled by the South Pole area as they see penguins waddling past.
