\"Plaza<\/a>Even though football is watched regularly by millions of Spaniards the national sport of bullfighting still holds a place in many people\u2019s heart. Around the country you\u2019ll find large bullring where sometimes such events take place. But of course the largest one of all of these is Plaza Toros Las Ventas in Madrid.<\/p>\n

This bullring can be found located in the city\u2019s Guindalera quarter in the Salamanca district<\/strong>. It is to the northeast of the centre of the city and was designed by the architect Jos\u00e9 Espeli\u00fa. The style he chose is known as Neo-Mud\u00e9jar<\/strong>, and was a style that was made popular during the 12th Century during the time when the Moors<\/strong> had made Spain their home. As a result of this the building looks more ancient than it really is.<\/p>\n
