Located in the district of Moncloa-Aravaca<\/strong><\/a>, Casa de Campo is not only a neighbourhood<\/strong><\/a>, but also the single largest public park in Madrid, five times larger than New York\u2019s Central Park and almost seven times larger than London\u2019s Hyde Park. Casa de Campo used to be property of the Spanish Crown, an area often used for hunting.<\/p>\n

When the second republic was proclaimed, on May 1st<\/sup>, 1931, the park became public property.\u00a0This beautiful park is home to a variety of plant species, where visitors can also spot animals like hares, wild boars, squirrels, moles, hedgehogs and different types of birds and fish.<\/p>\n
