Young people face a variety of obstacles when it comes to finding their first <\/span>job<\/b><\/a>. On one hand, many of them have obtained a university degree or other form of <\/span>higher education<\/b><\/a> but still cannot find a job in their field of study, causing them to have to take jobs that don\u2019t relate at all to their specialty. Overall, the demand for different positions that cover various types of specializations is not being met, with employees\u2019 profiles not fitting the position due to being either overqualified or under qualified for the type of work. The Ayuntamiento de Madrid has decided to take on this issue and has created specialized <\/span>courses<\/b><\/a> related to professions that are currently in demand on the job market, geared towards young job-hunters looking to start off their career, called <\/span>Cursos Oto\u00f1o Joven 2018<\/b><\/a> (2018 Career Courses for Young Adults). <\/span><\/p>\n

In these courses, you can receive training for <\/span>professions<\/b> such as <\/span>sports refereeing, <\/b>tennis<\/b><\/a> coaching <\/b>and<\/span> pilates<\/b><\/a> instructing<\/b>,\u00a0for example<\/span>. These can be ideal for those who want a career in sports science or kinesiology, or for people that have worked in sports out of interest and now want to work in the area of sports professionally. However, the variety of courses doesn\u2019t end here – you can also be trained in <\/span>first aid, pool maintenance, lifeguarding, supermarket deliveries, fishing, working as a butcher and food handling. <\/b>If you like to work with people in the realm of hospitality or food service, you can study <\/span>hospitality and customer service, waitressing and table bussing and event planning. <\/b>In addition, you can find interesting courses in <\/span>radio broadcasting, <\/b>sign language communication<\/b>, professional makeup artistry, <\/b>and<\/span>\u00a0children’s recreational leadership.<\/b><\/p>\n
