First of all we advise you to drop by one of the most beautiful parks in the city, where you can see different types of trees in bloom and enjoy one of the wonders that spring gives us: almond trees in bloom. We are talking about the park of Quinta de los Molinos in the popular neighborhood<\/strong><\/a> of San Blas. Here you can have a stroll, enjoy nature, have a picnic<\/strong><\/a> in the park and forget for a while, that you are in the capital of Spain. There is another urban park that we would like to recommend: the beautiful rose garden of the Parque del Oeste<\/strong><\/a>. The fragrant varieties are at their finest each spring, and the spectacle of more than 20,000 roses in full bloom is a must-see in this beautiful urban park.<\/p>\n

Another spring and cultural alternative, is to stroll through the book fair or Ferio del Libro<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, of which the 78th edition of this wonderful literary experience is organized. Besides getting to know the most important literary novels of the year, you can enjoy the interaction with the authors during this book event. It takes place every spring, in 2019 from May 31 to June 16, and it is located at one of the most emblematic places of the capital, the Retiro Park<\/strong><\/a>, more specifically at the Paseo del Duque de Ferr\u00e1n N\u00fa\u00f1ez. After the book fair, you can stay a bit longer in the Retiro Park, since the last of the recommendations of spring activities on the agenda, is to enjoy a sunny day in this beautiful urban park, which is one of the largest in Europe. The lake and its boats can be the success of any romantic plans you might have. It is ideal for lovers, who are lucky enough to enjoy a relaxing adventure on the water this spring.
