Here are some of the best pools in the city, that are ideal in the summer time.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"piscinas-de-cercedilla-las-dehesas\"><\/span>Piscinas de Cercedilla Las Dehesas<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Cercedilla pools<\/strong> are located at the <strong>Las Dehesas recreational area<\/strong>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shmadrid.com\/blog\/en\/swimming-rivers-madrid\/\"><strong>small pools<\/strong><\/a> are located along the <strong>Arroyo de la Venta<\/strong> (Valle de la Fuenfr\u00eda), which eventually flows into the <strong>R\u00edo Guadarrama<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Its swimming pools are <strong>treated with chlorine<\/strong> and there are bathrooms, an information kiosk, parking facilities, tables, fountains and if you love hiking, there are several hiking routes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many people from Madrid visit these pools in summer, and they have been constructed in a completely natural area in 1978. It is not only an area for sports activities, but also for leisure and recreation. Six Madrid Federations (golf, p\u00e1del, football, rowing, rugby and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shmadrid.com\/blog\/en\/archery-madrid\/\"><strong>archery<\/strong><\/a>) currently have their headquarters at this location.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Puerta de Hierro Sports Park has the largest water surface of all summer pools, that are being managed by the Community of Madrid. It is the <strong>largest natural swimming pool in all of Spain<\/strong>. The area consists of 4,500 square meters and it has a capacity of 2,000 people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although the <strong>water is treated with chlorine<\/strong>, it is still as cold as the water in the river.
