Then in the twentieth century and due to the construction of the aforementioned dam, the Egyptian government donated the temple to the city of Madrid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was transported and rebuilt stone by stone in its current location, and it was opened to the public in 1972.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The reconstruction of the temple in Madrid maintained its original orientation, from east to west.
