La Recoba

This is unlike any Italian restaurant we have come across before. In fact it is considered to be one of Madrid’s most innovative. There is a wide selection of dishes available. But if there is an Italian dish that isn’t on the menu that you would love to try, you only need to ask, as here they are more than happy to cook it for you.

Whilst visiting this restaurant, we recommend you try their carpaccio or forno italiano. Also why not sample their delicious genuine buffalo mozzarella salad. La Recoba is in the district of Centro, on Calle de la Magdalena, 27.

La Scarpetta Ristorante

This is a restaurant that has taken the pizzeria to a new level. If you think that fine dining isn’t on the menu, you would be wrong. In fact it doesn’t get any better. With beautiful views looking out over the sea, La Scarpetta is a beautiful place to enjoy fantastic food.

But it isn’t only about the pizza, here you’ll find that they serve some of the best spaghetti dishes in all of Madrid. La Scarpetta is in the neighbourhood of Legazpi, on Calle Ariel, 15.

When it comes to dining out Italian style you’ll find that you are spoilt for choice in Madrid. Whatever you do when in Madrid, you should make sure that you take time out to visit at least one of these restaurants. Like so many others you’ll end up going back to them time and time again.
