Aravaca is one of the most expensive sectors in the district of Moncloa-Aravaca, which is one of the most distinguished districts in the city of Madrid.

There are some residential areas and also many green zones and communal places. It doesn’t lack general services and shopping options either.

Aravaca is actually a very exhaustive neighbourhood, and it is well-connected to other parts of the capital. Properties are expensive if you compare Aravaca’s real estate to other sectors within the district, like Valdezarza.

To sum it all up, Aravaca is a place of tranquillity, it has good connections to other areas within the capital, and it is perfect if you prefer living in an elegant and distinguished residential zone that has plenty of commercial options and different kinds of services.

Most of the properties in the area have communal zones with a swimming pool, children's playground and a fitness area.

What to see in the neighbourhood of Aravaca in Madrid

One of the highlights in Aravaca is the Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Buen Camino. This is a small, white church and it is actually located very close to highway A-6.

The first interesting fact on the existence of this hermitage is that it dates all the way back to the year 1575 when Philip II ordered the registry of all of his territories. This hermitage was then already included.

The temple is part of the Camino de Santiago (the Way of Saint James), and it is a pilgrim’s stop for people coming from the south and passing through Madrid.

There is a small, free car park behind the hermitage. If there are no parking spaces left, it should not be difficult to find a place to park your car in the surrounding area. The maximum capacity for the hermitage is 150 people.
