Summer Cinema in Madrid

Written by Daniella

Summer is a special time and many people long for it all year. As the weather gets better and better, there are many activities we would rather do outside, instead of inside. One of the most successful events during the summer is the outdoor cinema, an activity that reminds us of the days that movies were played in small villages. They captured a special and unforgettable charm. If you will be staying in Madrid this summer, do not miss the opportunity to watch a movie on one of the open-air cinema days. They will surely take you straight back to your childhood.

There are more and more options to watch a movie during the summer cinema days in the capital of Spain. Over the next 1,5 months, the movie screens at Parque de la Bombilla, Cibeles de Cine and Terraza Magnética will be showing movies again. You will be able to watch new movies, while you enjoy new features at the Hotel Emperador. You will not only see premieres of movies, but also classics. We are all looking forward to seeing those, and the good thing about it is, that visiting an open-air cinema is much cheaper than going to a traditional movie theatre.
