Written by Allison

As well as being a great city to live in Madrid, it is also a wonderful city to visit. As well as amazing food and people there are plenty of things to do and places to go at night. In fact the city has become well known for some of the best nightlife in Spain.

If you want to know wNightClubhere the best clubs in Madrid are then read on. Here we introduce you to what we consider to be some of the best places to go out in Madrid at night.

1. Teatro Kapital

This particular night club covers a total of 7 floors (yeah you heard me right 7 floors). As the name suggests it is believed to be the capital of all Madrid nightlife clubs. Due to its size it allows you to hear the music being played on each of its huge floors. This is one experience that shouldn’t be missed when you decide to go out and enjoy Madrid at night.

2. Joy Eslava

This particular club came into existence back in 1871, as a classical music hall. Then it turned into a theatre, before then conversion to a club occurred in 1981. It is next to Puerta del Sol and there are 2 different atmospheres you can enjoy within it. As it is a place where the beautiful people love to go so you find that the cost of entry and drinks is quite high. You never know you just may bump into your favourite footballer or actor whilst there.

3. Teatro BaTeatro Barcelórceló

This is one of the city’s most exclusive clubs. The choice of music played at this particular Madrid nightlife spot is eclectic. One minute you can hear the latest hits, next you can hear some flamenco. What most people find attractive is the difference in the clubs two rooms. The main room is decorated in electric blue and with neon lights, whilst the other is decorated in an intense red colour.

4. La Posada de Las Animas

This club has become famous for its style. Dress code here is smart but casual. Unlike other Madrid nightlife clubs this one allows you the opportunity to interact and talk to interest people. This place has become known for adapting the decor to match the seasons. Again this a club that you must visit during your time in the city.

5. Opium Madrid

This club has only recently opened and yet is already vying to become the place to go. You’ll find it located close to Paseo de la Castellana. Here Electro and House are king and is hoping in turn to become as famous as its “brother” in Barcelona. In fact we are sure that it won’t be long before this does become one of the best clubs in Madrid and where those who want to get noticed will go.
