Celebrating Father’s Day is a tradition, that involves thanking our father for all he has done, all he still does and all he will be doing for us throughout his life. That is why it is a very special day, and it should be celebrated in the best possible way we can imagine. A very suitable way to celebrate Father’s Day, is in a good restaurant. In general, almost everyone (both parents and children) likes good food, and we like to have diner in a pleasant environment and comfortable setting. Therefore, the ShMadrid team have decided to give you some ideas to spend Father’s Day in the best possible way. First of all, we want to talk to you about a restaurant, that will surely delight your parents, called Montes de Galicia. This place offers typical Galician cuisine. Jose Espasandín, a businessman and restaurateur, set out to open a business with the idea of turning a neighborhood restaurant into one of the best Galician restaurants in the capital. Thus, in 1997, Montes de Galicia was born. His dedication and the utmost care he has for details, as well as his strong commitment to using quality products, were the incentives to turn this restaurant into a successful restaurant. Today, 20 years later and after a great image renewal, Montes de Galicia is a safe bet to celebrate Father’s Day in Madrid. It is located on Calle Azcona, 46.

Another good alternative to dine out with your father, is restaurant Círculo Marisquería. From the moment they opened the place, their intention was to create a meeting point, where everyone feels at home and prices are fair. They want you to taste excellent food made with good quality products, and that you’d want to come there over and over again. You can locate them in the Calle Oliva de Plasencia, 1, in the San Ignacio de Loyola Shopping Center. And last but not least, we would like to introduce Al Socaire, a terrific restaurant, located near the Parque del Retiro de Madrid. Al Socaire offers an a la carte menu, but it also has special menus for your Father’s Day celebration, like Santander or Santillana. Its gastronomic basis consists of home cooking, which is tastful and which requires time and attention. Try the sopa de pescado, the merluza a la cántabra, or any of the meat dishes on the menu. And don’t forget the dessert! As you may have guessed, Al Socaire is a Cantabrian restaurant. You can find it at Calle Pío Baroja , 10.
