Why Take Time Out To Visit Café del Jardín
Written by Allison

Cafe de Jardin 1Want to get away from all the hustle and bustle when you come to Madrid? Well there is one place that is worth a visit during your time in this amazing city. That place is Café del Jardín, which you’ll find in the Museo del Romanticismo (Romantic Museum).

You’ll find that this is a haven of peace and quiet and provides you with the perfect place to relax and unwind. Yet it is hard to believe that it is to located in the heart of the city.

As you enter the cafe’s garden there are only a few tables available to sit at. But these are surrounded by lots of trees and plants and some marble statues. Also within the garden is a fountain around which a few benches have been placed providing the perfect peaceful oasis to get away from it all. It really is like a secret garden and as part of the museum it does make the perfect spot for a touch of romance to come into your life.

As the weather gets hotter so many people tend to gravitate towards inside. This is because the interior is perfect place to sit and relax. But if you can spending time in the garden is beautiful especially on a hot summers afternoon, as the trees help to provide some shade.

Relax in garden and explore the museum

You have the choice of either enjoying all that this oasis has to offer after exploring the museum, or you can visit it separately. To gain access to it is free. When it comes to visiting in the summer it is best to do so during the week. This is because there tends to be fewer people around. It is certainly a favourite spot with many of those who reside in the city.

In fact if you have the opportunity when visiting interesting cafe in Madrid, make sure that you put aside at least a couple of hours. Whilst there you can sit back relax and enjoy some coffee and cake, as you listen to the fountain.

Museo_Romántico_(Madrid)_03Along with you being able to drink coffee at this romantic spot in Madrid they serve some really delicious food. We would recommend that you either try out their breakfast or their lunch. This is served daily from 12.00 until this romantic cafe in Madrid closes. This is something that isn’t normal to be found in Madrid. Most restaurants tend to be open all day or have set times when they serve food. Personally we love the great selection of homemade pastries and cakes on offer.

As you walk through the doors of this cafe to drink coffee in Madrid you feel like you are being transported back in time. They have chosen to go with a retro look that further adds to the wonderful ambiance of Café del Jardín.
