The neighbourhood of Ibiza is located in the district of Retiro, in the east of the capital of Madrid. The area is bordered in the north by Calle de O'Donnell; bordered in the east by Calle del Doctor Esquerdo; bordered in the south by Calle del Alcalde Sainz de Baranda and Calle del Doce de Octubre; and bordered in the west by Avenida de Menéndez Pelayo, which is located on the eastern edge of Parque del Retiro.

The presence of green areas is one of its strengths, but you will also be able to find one of the most important medical centres in Spain in this neighbourhood: the General University Hospital Gregorio Marañón.  

Additionally, you can also visit Parque del Retiro, one of the most valuable urban parks in Europe for its size and rural landscape.

You will be close to the magnificent Parque del Retiro when you live in the neighbourhood of Ibiza. This is a historic garden and public park, that has become one of the most important parks in Europe.

It is considered to be one of the most visited tourist sites in the capital, and it houses numerous architectural, sculptural and landscape elements from the seventeenth to the twenty-first century, like the Monument for Alfonso XII, the Palacio de Cristal, the Estanque Grande (large lake), the Parterre, the Puerta de Felipe IV, the Royal Astronomical Observatory and the Fuente de la Alcachofa (fountain). There are even elements from before the seventeenth century, as the hermitage of San Pelayo y San Isidoro, which is of Roman origin.
