Theme Parks In Spain - Warner, A Blockbuster Park
Written by Allison

Warner Park Madrid 3When you travel to Madrid with children there are plenty of great activities to enjoy. If you intend to visit the city for more than just a couple of days then make sure that you arrange a trip to Warner Park.

This theme park in Madrid is situated to the south of the city in a town called San Martin de la Vega. The Warner Park first opened its gates in 2002 and is a favourite with many couples when they travel with children. In fact it really will make that family holiday even more special. Plus you’ll find that it has won the accolade of being the safest theme park in Spain.

The park itself has been divided up into five different sections. Time and money has been spent on making sure that they have been able to recreate some of the many films that have been produced by Warner Bros over the years.
The areas that you can enjoy during your visit when you travel to Madrid are as follows:

Hollywood Boulevard

This area takes you back to the 60’s and 70’s and includes such highlights as the Chinese Theatre. Since 2010 you now have the opportunity to take a walk through the Walk of Fame as if you were in Hollywood itself. They have even created a smaller one that is dedicated specifically to actors from Spain.

Movie World Studio

Here you can get to see what a production studio is like, as well as their recreation of a neighborhood from New York. Along it are vintage cars and if you want to be like Leonardo DiCaprio in “Wolf of Wall Street”, you can by entering their replica of the Wall Street Stock Market.

Also within this area is a collection that has been inspired by the beaches of California.

DC Superheroes World

This part of the theme park has been inspired by the home of Batman “Gotham City”. Here everyone has the opportunity to not only meet Batman but also Superman through visiting the attractions “Batman, The Escape” and “Steel Superman”.

Old West Territory

This area allows you to feel like a real cowboy or girl. As you wander through it streets you will see the same facades that towns and cities of the old west would have looked like. This is an area of the theme park that pays tribute to western movies that starred the likes of John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart.

Looney TunesCartoon Village

When you travel to Madrid with children this is one area of the park that most of the younger children will love. It is a part of the park that is dedicated to cartoons that were created under the Looney Tunes banner. Within here are a total of 20 different attractions and offers you a chance to get up and close with some of your favourite cartoon characters including Bugs Bunny and Tweety Pie.
